Anthony "AJ" Hicks
Owner & Head Trainer
AJ is the leader of our pack. He founded LOTP in 2021.
AJ is a Certified Dog Trainer with the Animal Behavior College.
AJ spends a lot of time continuing his education and experience, learning from his mentors;
Bob Smith k9 in Washington & Jas Leverette of Cali K9.
He lives the motto; eat, sleep, train, repeat. AJ has dedicated his life to helping dogs and their owners build better relationships.
Macy Hart
Office Manager &
Certified Canine Nutritionist
Macy started out as a client, back when LOTP was just AJ and his red backpack. Training with LOTP changed Macy's life so much that she eventually joined the team doing social media and marketing , and eventually became the manager (her dream job!).
Macy has 5 dogs; Paisley, Delilah, Bella, Juice, & Wrangler.
Macy has been taking canine nutrition courses thru the Companion Animal Science Institute and now has her Certificate of Canine Nutrition.
Vaughn Hannibal
Senior Canine Trainer
Vaughn joined the LOTP family seeking training for his dog at the time. He was a natural and decided to pursue a career working with and training dogs. Vaughn has been at LOTP since 2023.
In his free time, vaughn enjoys riding his motorcycle and spending time with his dogs.
KeVontae "Bubba" Richard
Canine Trainer & Canine Care
Bubba joined the LOTP family in 2024. He has a deep passion for working with dogs and helping owners better understand their dogs. Bubba has one 1 dog; Nala. Bubba loves the challenge of dog training and seeing the results! In his free time, Bubba enjoys playing some basketball and hanging out with friends!
Kerrigan Tresslar
Canine Care & Puppy Trainer
Kerrigan has been working at LOTP since we moved to our new location in the Fall of 2025. Kerrigan has many years of experience in the dog care & training world. Kerrigan loves training puppies!
Kerrigan has 4 dogs: Bella, Link, Cash, & Twig. Kerrigan enjoys time spent training and walking her dogs!
Shae Webster
Dog Groomer
Shae has about 10 years of grooming experience. She is also very knowledgable in dog behavior. Shae enjoys working one on one with her clients and making sure each dog feels comfortable and cared for.
Shae has 4 dogs of her own: Jasper, Natsu, Shiki, & Carousel!
In her free time, Shae enjoys participating and competing in sports with her dogs! They participate in disc, dock diving, and FastCAT.
Tess Brown
Canine Care
Tess is passionate about animal care and dedicated to creating a safe, comfortable, and engaging environment for every dog in our care.
She enjoys building connection with each pup and making sure they feel happy, supported, and well cared for during their stay with us.
Sasha Miller
Canine Care
Sasha has worked with dogs for over 10 years, trying out dog grooming, getting certified for dog training, and most recently got her certification to do dog massage for her dog that has hip dysplasia.
Her heart always goes back to boarding and caring for the dogs like they are her own.
She eats, sleeps, and breathes dog hair, having 4 dogs of her own!
Sofia Flores
Canine Care
Sofia has 4 years of experience working with dogs in multiple settings.
She is also the owner of a German shorthaired pointer, named Cricket!
Sofia is currently a senior at Purdue (Boiler Up!), seeking a B.S in wildlife sciences with a minor in aquatic sciences.
